About the event

The purpose of Aligned Heart Yoga & Self Care is to support women in their efforts to incorporate self care in a world that teaches us to prioritize other people's needs over our own. We are the managers of our own wellness and fulfillment. Managing our own physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness is the most important job of all. Caring for ourselves isn't always pretty or easy. But, sometimes amidst the endless list of responsibilities, mounting personal and professional pressures, add in parental responsibilities, and everything else, self care can fall by the way side. The purpose of the soul care tribe membership is create one safe (virtual) space in which both self care is always easily accessible leading to nervous system regulation and mental/emotional wellness. All this so that healing can happen. The pillars of this membership are as follows: - Yoga, meditation, breathwork: We will use these modalities to reduce stress, resolve trauma and invite more calm, clarity & happiness. (self-regulation) - Gut health: We will learn about microbiome balance to make diet and lifestyle changes for optimal communication between the gut and the brain. Sam will educate on gut health protocol for mental wellness, ayurvedic nutrition, happy gut foods and recipes. (internal regulation) - Connection: the poly vagal theory [Dr. Steven Porges] teaches us that connection with each other allows for a feeling safety in a community or circle and creates space for moving through stress, trauma and struggle collectively. Social engagement provides experiences of connection in which we are open to receiving another person as they are. . (co-regulation) The monthly offerings of the soul care membership will look like a mixture of the following services: - 60 min yoga classes including a combination of movement, meditation, and breath (themed based on the season, energetic centers, - 30 min yoga classes including a combination of movement, meditation, and breath - 30 min guided somatic emotional release - 10 min guided meditations - 30 min themed talks paired with breath and meditation - one monthly private one on one emotional wellness coaching session - soul care support circle (monthly group) -  tips and practices for nervous system regulation - monthly posts and videos on gut health education and protocol/nervous system health/mental wellness/diet recommendations/recipes - music song chanting - journaling

Members will have access to: - social community on Facebook and website for connection and accountability - replays for all classes - discounts on special/pop up yoga classes & longer form workshops/events
