Meditation and Breath for Calm and Clarity

3- week program (Sun Nov 29th – Sun Dec 20th)

In this 3-week Beta group learning experience, we will dig into the these very important limbs of yoga: Asana (physical practice), Pratyahara (Meditation), and Pranayama (Breath) but with an added focus on self-discovery to determine what forms of meditation and breath are ideal for the individual depending on your personality and what's going on in your life. We will discuss a bit about the origin, benefits, and common questions surrounding meditation (sense control) and breath (Breath control).

When we make a point to slow down and sit in stillness, we can listen to the messages from our body. We develop full presence and mindfulness. When we make this a regular practice, over time tuning out the “noise” and tuning into our inner Knowing becomes a habit. We can rekindle self trust and self love. This reconnection with the Self is the path to self awareness, which allows us to more easily release judgement, fear and anxiety in order to maintain clarity and calm.

This is a great opportunity to jump start your meditation and/or breathwork practice so that you’ll always have these practices in your self care tool box. No meditation, breath or yoga experience required.

Each week we will include:

* a 30 min pre-recorded group learning session including some self-discovery prompts - Videos available Sunday mornings

- Nov 29th : Introduction/ Limbs of Yoga / The Practice / Self Care Toolbox

- Dec 6th : Pratyahara (Meditation 1.0) / Sense Control / Types and benefits

- Dec 13th : Pranayama (Breath 1.0) / Breath Control / Types and benefits

- BONUS VIDEO on Dec 20th : Special Guest Guided Breathwork

* A 60 min Virtual meditation, breath, or combined yoga session - Thursdays at 8:30pm or replay recording

- Dec 3rd: Live Meditation tutorial and Guided Meditation

- Dec 10th : Live Breath tutorial and Guided Breathwork

- Dec 17th:  Live Combined class (gentle yoga plus meditation and breath)

· Access to a private client only Facebook group with additional content, exercises and a place to ask me anything.

· Weekly at-home exercises and homework with an option to share in the private group.
